Fascinating provocative article from the FT highlighting experiments at using robots to conduct initial-stage interviews.  I suspect most readers recoil in horror at the thought of avoiding the human touch, both for the recruiter and the candidate, but the fact is we know humans have massive biases, get easily tired and have a poor track record.  Companies have been using psychometric testing and data for decades to filter mass-applicant hiring processes – perhaps robot interviews are actually fairer and can generate better results?
